Hey,
It's often hard to start writing, there could be so many starting points, but I will not overcomplicate things here and try to keep it short. I have been professional poker player my whole adult life. Started pro career as tournament player, did that for approximately 9-10 years, did well there and although I don't have updated graphs here is the last one I can found on my pc:

6 years ago I became a father and 3 years ago I decided no longer sacrifice my time with family for late night tournaments. I tried morning mtt's too, did well there, but quite honestly the schedule for me was quite boring and the ceiling for growing as a player was too limited.

So, long story short I started exploring cash games, first ~12 months I basically freestyled and looked at some online content and played NL200, was playing only on GG where rake is very high, but I managed to have positive winrate, without including bonuses + rakeback. Next, I joined cash game cfp, where I spent next 18 months, I learned a lot, my winrate increased and nowadays I play NL200-2k, most of my volume comes from NL500, currently playing accross 3 sites.

I am not high volume player, I play around 20-25k hands/month, here are last ~24 months table results without rb or bonuses.

So, currently my goals are plain and simple, continuing to grow as a player and slowly build myself for highest stakes, without any rushing or super aggressive shot taking. I am also, diverting my bankroll towards investing in stocks and have monthly expenses obviously, so my bankroll growth isn't straight forward, but with my current approach I think I can reach the sweet spot that I'm aiming at. This blog doesn't serve any particular purpose to be honest, for one I am not interested in being any sort of public figure (that's why this blog is anonymous), nor I am planning to advertise this beyond my circle of group, I just want to share my journey, share my ideas and experiences and hopefully this can benefit some of the readers.

I will not list any disciplinary daily/weekly goals, I have forcefully done this many years and found out that for me it doesn't work well. My approach is to be well rested, slightly active, follow how I feel, simplify most of my decisions without random complexcity.
If I would need to summarize how I spent ~most of my weeks poker wise I would say I spent ~4-5hours of studying the game, playing around 30 hours, I also do 4-8hours/month of coaching.

Okay, that's enough for first post. It's been slightly longer than I wanted, but it's fine.
I have already played couple small sessions this year, happy with my game so far, I will post some results and some thoughts in next post.
